Jonathan and Faith's Wedding

I am very excited to share with you the very special time we had on Friday night, April 4th.  This is when Miss Faith Smith became Mrs. Jonathan Painter.  Time passes so quickly, our little children one day and grown adults the next.  I am so blessed to have watched Jonathan grow up into a Christ honoring young man.  I am thankful beyond words to Bro. & Mrs. Smith for the outstanding job they did raising Faith.  It is truly rewarding to see our young people come to the altar clean and pure.  It makes all of the, seeming, hard work worth it!  Now I pray the LORD will bless their brand new lives together!
Here the Journey began........

Have a Happy Thanksgiving

I am excited about the holidays coming up.  I enjoy our Ladies meetings and our Banquets.  This is my most favorite time of year.  I am looking forward to our November Ladies Meeting, the devotion is about... What are we "really" thankful for?  Today we have lost sight of what true blessings are and have made our luxuries our necessities!  The LORD has blessed us with so much to be THANKFUL for, it is my wish for each of you to gain (or regain) sight of those blessings this holiday season.

In Prayer For You,
~ Mrs. Tammy Painter

October Ladies Meeting
Our theme was pumpkins....I love fall time, it is my most favorite time of year.  As always, we enjoyed food, fellowship and a golden nugget from the Word of God.  The devotion was about attitudes.  What can cause our attitudes to change and how we can make it a positive change. A special thank you to the ladies who helped with the food for the meeting; Mrs. Megan Miller and Mrs. Julie Jager.

This was a cheese ball (I shaped it like a pumpkin)  Great for our Theme
The Decorations were fall leaves and pumpkins

This was a donut hole dipped in white chocolate (colored orange) and the leaves are green fruit roll up.

To the Pumpkin Patch We Go!

To the Pumpkin Patch We Go!

We took a field trip to a local pumpkin farm.....We had so much fun! There were many activities and things to do.  The day was gone before we knew it, and the children were tuckered out.

This is the "NO LEFT TURN MAZE"  It was very challenging even with the solution instructions right there.
This is the Jumping Pillow.  I think the kids could have stayed in this one spot all day!!!

 ALL TUCKERED OUT!!!
This is inside a huge cupcake house in the life size "Candy Land Game"
Here we are getting ready for the hay rack ride that would take us out to pick out our pumpkins.

Mmmmm.. I can smell the pumpkin pie already!!!!!!

Everyone stay off of the streets!!!  This was a lot of fun.

 That is ONE BIG SLIDE!

What a very pleasant day.  Everyone was tired by the time it was over.

Ladies Retreat 2012

For our Ladies Retreat this year we went to Heritage Baptist Church with Pastor & Mrs. Hanks.  We enjoyed our time so much.  We took 13 ladies and ALL of our luggage in a 15 passenger van.  That can be a recipe for disaster, but spirits were high and attitudes were great.  We enjoyed the drive down and had a little bit of time at the hotel before we needed to head to the church.
We were greeted by smiling faces, good food, and a WONDERFUL spirit.  What a blessing to see the ladies of Lincoln Baptist Church enjoying themselves.

Mrs. Gaiser was surprised to open one of the suitcases, during a game, to find someone staring back at her.

What a great sport......she composed herself and went right on with the rest of the "contest"!

What a Great bunch of ladies....Thank all of you for making my time on the retreat so enjoyable.
